The below PowerPoint was created for a staff inset training day. The aim of this resource is to provide simple step by step guide to how to set up an iGoogle account, as well as utilise this account to allow the teachers to create student surveys. The staff who took part in this training course found the resource very straight forward and easy to use.

How to structure an English Literature Essay

The below video link was a resource created to be submitted to the dream teachers project currently associated with Jamie Oliver and Channel 4. The aim of the dream teacher project is to supply video resources to help explain the concepts that British GCSE students find hardest to learn. Click the you tube link belwo to see the video.

E-safety: Virtual Classroom Tour (VCT)

This particular resource was created and entered for the Microsoft Innovative teachers awards. This got to the UK Finals for this award. The aim of the recourse is to provide all the resources for setting up an E-safety scheme of work in any school. It is PowerPoint based with additional files embedded into it. The file is just under 58MB so it is probably better to save it to you computer rather than just opening it.

Mircosoft: pptPlex

pptPlex is an add-on for Microsoft PowerPoint it uses Plex technology to give you the power to zoom in and out of slide sections and move directly between slides that are not sequential in your presentation. pptPlex can help you organize and present information in a non-linear fashion. How to use Stupeflix

Stupeflix allows you to add text that appears below the picture, perfect for any purpose. You can add photos using the URL. Click export and the video is completed in a few minutes. Stupeflix is a great free tool for students to use to create video montages of images. Stupeflix is a good alternative to old-style, boring slideshows. The captioning and editing tools are easy to use which makes Stupeflix a service that most students above the age of 10 could use and more importantly, enjoy using.
