My masters work
I have recently started work on a Masters in education course (Med) with University College Plymouth St Mark & St John (MARJON’s). I below is a breakdown of what I submitted as part of the Med course. I found this course to be particularly interesting and very help full as part of Continual Professional Development (CPD) as well as a great aid when teaching my lessons.
My first assignment (60 Credits)
For my first assignment I wrote up my NQT year and conducted some action research discussing and researching the following statement:
“Effective planning is dependent on a full consideration of differentiation and assessment.”
I found this assignment to be very interesting and informative. It was interesting to see how my priorities had changed form when I was a PGCE student through my NQT year to the time of writing up the assignment. I have attached the assignment as a PDF file in the table at the bottom of the page.
My second assignment (60 Credits)
For my second assignment I conducted an independent research project. The aim of this project was to answer the following question:
“How to encourage more effective listening”
I conducted this study with a range of year 9 students who were the main participants in this study. This helped with my classroom management skills as it allowed me understand effective strategies I could use within my lessons to ensure that the students were listening to my instructions effectively. I have attached the assignment as a PDF file in the table at the bottom of the page.
The aim of this study was to see if there was a definitive model that secondary educational establishments could follow to ensure that the delivery of e-safety is effective within those establishments. the question attempted to answer was.
“How can guidance in e-safety, be delivered effectively in a large secondary educational establishments”
